Nathan is not like anyone else: Nathan is Nathan. Told in the form of a poem, from Nathan's perspective, this endearing children's book was written and illustrated by Nathan's 20-year-old sister, Jahla. Each page is a beautiful painting with lines from the touching poem weaving it all together.
Nathan has been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He is a unique child with a different learning style, and different communication style, a child full of love and hope and joy. Although he does not speak or behave the same way most people do, he loves people, and he has a gift of deep caring for those he loves.
